I’m back. Sorry for the unexpected hiatus.

There are lots of things going on right now.  After a historical win by Barack Obama, things are just bustling all over.  People from other countries are also excited about this change and I heard that Manny Pacquiao is actually inspired by Obama. He wants to win his next fight with boxing champ Oscar de la Hoya.

Other notes include our concern for Peejay who is about to go for an operation tomorrow – (our prayers are with you PeeJay).    We are very sure that you will be under the hand of God while going through the operation.  Well wishes from everyone.

Our Christmas in New York has also been confirmed.  Anyone who can make it to the Uy’s residence for Christmas is more than welcome.  People – - start logging into  Elfster so we know what gift you prefer. We are thinking of lowering the minimum amount to $20.00 because of the current economic situation. Please do so as soon as possible.

Thanks – - – and yes, we’re back!!!

We’re glad to report that PJ has been discharged and is doing well.

Peejay Dominguez, Annie Dominguez’s oldest son has been released from the hospital.  Thank God, his condition is better now and the doctors are going to try to strengthen his heart through medication.  We all hope and pray that it works so that he doesn’t have to go through a heart transplant.

He has been very active online now and sending messages on Facebook.  Even political I must add.  His last entry was “Pius is liking catching up, its been awhile everyone ( =”.

So send him your good wishes.  I’m sure he will appreciate it.

We’re not getting any younger.

Published by under Health,Health Tips

I didn’t expect it this soon as well. I need to be more active. I am starting to feel the pain on my joints, my knees and everywhere else possible. I am still at a very young age and really, I shouldn’t feel “age creeping up on me”. I am simply not active enough. I know for a fact that one day, it will be inevitable and I would need to take care of myself now before it catches up on me.

We do have our Aunts and Uncles who are up there in age and most of them (thank God!) are mobile enough on their own and although they feel aches and pains, they can still manage. If you know of someone in the family that has a difficult time getting up because of injured knees or whatever – it doesn’t have to be age… there are Lift Chairs available that could be of assistance to them. The chairs are designed really well and it could be his or her favorite chair in the living room where if there are no one there to assist, he or she can lift her self up without any problems.

I think it will add confidence to them as well because they will feel less dependent on you or anyone to be able to move around and stand up on their own. Just a thought.

Since we’re on it, I might as well continue with healthy tips and tricks to help us live our lives fully with less stress.  These days, you are lucky to get a push up or two in unless you include it in your routine.  Once it becomes a part of your routine, it will work like clockwork.  Let’s keep moving.  Life is out there waiting for us to live it.

The last thing most people who suffer from depression want to do is exercise. The dark hole of depression can make even getting out of bed everyday a seemingly impossible task. If you suffer from depression it is imperative that you see your doctor or a therapist first, but don’t be surprised if they prescribe some sort of exercise regimen for you to follow in addition to some of the more normal treatments for depression.
