First of all, we would like to offer our deepest condolences to the Reyes family (Ate Baby Priscilla), whose oldest brother Eduardo “BONJIE” PestaƱo Reyes passed away last month.
Secondly, we also would like to offer our deepest sympathies to the Rabutaso family, whose mother (the only living sibling of our father, Federico Dominguez), Luz Rabutaso passed away last week.
Time is simply flying us by and we can no longer ignore the fact that life is simply too short. We have to take care of ourselves more diligently now than ever.
Recent news: Ate Agnes Dominguez-Nepomuceno was admitted to the hospital a last September for a check up due to some kind of palpitation, Ate Josie Dominguez-Uy recently went through a procedure called angioplasty (widening of obstructed blood vessel typically caused by artheriosclerosis). Divina Dominguez-Garcia was admitted to the hospital as well due to kidney stones forming inside her kidney.
Ate Agnes called me recently to say that we should have a reunion more often recalling the recent scares that have happened. I do agree and we should really make time to see each other more often. But the problem is that no one wants to cooperate.
Planning a reunion is easy. If we have to have the food catered, the house cleaned and so forth – that’s not a problem. The problem lies with the lack of participation from family members. When we plan a reunion, we should all make the effort to attend and take the necessary days off to make the event.
I can plan another reunion this summer since the Dizons (Tita Tessie, Danette and Mariah) are here from Seattle. The Alcala’s are hosting a party on July 5th.
Just say the word, I will start planning soon.
