Business could be good here in the Philippines.

Published by sanglahi under Family Reunions

There are many opportunities still undiscovered in the Philippines. Anyone who wants to earn could earn money, given the right opportunity. Of course, you need capital. Once capital is found, a good business plan and a strong heart for success. Everyone knows it takes at least a year or two to get a business off the ground.

My friend wants to open a furniture business in the Philippines. While we were there, he started looking for a space where he could rent. Offices may be found through the internet through listings that are offered by companies. We may have to come back next year to firm up the business plans. We’re just waiting for the economy to turn around a bit before we get started.

Crossing our fingers!

Sanglahi Yahoo Group, a great source for news.

Published by sanglahi under Family Reunions

Many thanks to Ate Veenah for setting up the Sanglahi Yahoo Group where relatives may be informed of any news surrounding our family. It has worked really well. If I needed to contact anyone in the family, I could simply send it to the group.

If anyone out there is not aware of our Yahoo Group, please note that our group is accessible through sanglahi@yahoogroups.com. We have the whole Reyes family registered there and you can send your message for everyone to see.

Please register and be a part of our family group.

Economic recovery… is the end really in sight? Would a Payday Loan help you out today?

Published by sanglahi under Family Reunions

There are lots of positive news about the economy. The stock market is doing really well globally. Is the economic crisis over? Well, let’s hope so.

To some of the families, it may not be the end just yet specially the ones who were laid off during the peak of the crisis. President Barack Obama is doing his best to move the economy forward. I heard that the bill was signed to prevent credit cards from over-charging interest rates. That is a good thing. Lots and lots of customers in good standing (myself included) are still getting charged with exorbitant amount in interest rates which is totally unfair. We hope that this move will help consumers specially at this time when times are tough.

Those who don’t want to rely on credit cards but simply would like to obtain a short term loan could apply for a Payday Loan where they could borrow a certain amount of money and wish to pay it off immediately just to bridge the gap between paychecks. If you have the ability to pay a loan immediately in full and simply would like to borrow and spend it on tuition or books at the time you most need it, you can apply for a Payday Loan. It’s best to pay it in full so that you don’t pay high interest rates.

Let’s all hope that we’ve hit the rock bottom of this economic crisis. Let’s look forward to a healing and eventually, healthier economy in the future.

Where are your savings right now?

Published by sanglahi under Family Reunions

I guess you’ve all heard that I have opened up a blog on how to earn money online. Working from home part-time, can get you a few bucks that you thought you’d never be able to make. The key thing is to make your money work for your. Otherwise, the little income that I get from blogging will be just that… little. I can grow it exponentially by investing it somewhere where you can leverage your investment and watching your money grown. Investment Forge is such a place where you can to this. If you own a small business or have spare change to invest, you shouldn’t let it sit. Otherwise, financial freedom may feel out of reach.

Does anyone want to join me in an MLM project – Stem Cell Supplements?

Published by sanglahi under Family Reunions

I don’t know much about it yet but I received a call from Max last night (a family friend from New York) who was introducing a concept to me about a new product that is FDA approved. As we all know, getting involved at the bottom level of any MLM is the best way to go. Receiving royalty checks is the goal.

If anyone is interested, please contact me or comment on this post. We are looking for people who wants to get involved – for a mere .25 cents, you can get started. The product will be available in the Philippines in September and we’d like to get you in as soon as possible.

Let us know!

Got an Idea!

Hey everyone! This is something we’ve never done before. Maybe this will be a great idea for our family reunion?! How about picking any of the Wildwood vacations in New Jersey? New Jersey takes a lot of insults but I must tell you, New Jersey is really great! I have lived here for the past 9 years and I have no complaints yet. I’m close to Atlantic City, we have water parks here and lots of things to do in New Jersey.

What do you say if we all book ourselves at any of the Wildwood New Jersey motels and visit Morey’s Piers? It’ll be different! Specially now that most of you have kids, it will be fun. Just throwing it out there.

Let me know.  I will be glad to post the pictures here for our relatives to see.

Congratulations Maridee and Arnel!!

Rainy days and Mondays..

Published by sanglahi under Family Reunions

It’s been raining the past week or so and we are told that it should let up by Wednesday.  It’s really cool to have rainy days when you don’t have to go to work… for me, that means sleeping or watching TV with my blanket and a hot cup of cocoa.

It will be summer soon – - I hope people are planning on a reunion!  Like I said the last time, I won’t be involved in the planning anymore, but I promise to show up. :D

Just let me know – post something the our Yahoo Group or leave a comment here.  We will make sure that your message get’s propagated to the proper individuals.

Enjoy the rainy weather!

Cutting costs at work.

Published by sanglahi under Family Reunions

Some of you may have felt the impact of this ailing economy at your workplaces. I know because we had to take a paycut early this year and they predict that there wouldn’t be any merit increases as well. They’ve cut all our travel and even cut out our 401K contributions.

Times are tough. I remember two years ago when our company was having the best year ever. We would have company-sponsored outings, travel was unlimited and life was good. Before they even encouraged on-site training for every employee (all expenses paid) to keep up with technology and the industry. This time around, they prefer employees to take web based training in place of an on-site training. One great benefit? Cost. Web-based training is much more affordable than on-site training. I am actually taking one right now and I can take it at my own phase as long as I complete all the modules.

I really hope that the economy gets better soon. But until then, I think they will be finding ways of cutting costs even more. (Just leave the coffee – - that’s all I ask)
