What’s your excuse for not getting Lasik surgery?
When I thought of getting Lasik back in 2006, I never thought I would be as glad that I did it at the time that I did. My neighbor who was just getting into skiing at that time told me that she had gotten Lasik because of the constraints of wearing eyeglasses adds to the sport that she is beginning to love. She decided to get Lasik done and was bragging about how she received a 12/15 vision after the surgery and experienced no pain at all in the process. She was skiing without eyeglasses three days after the procedure. My main concern then was how the surgery will go and how painful it will be afterwards. My neighbor said she experienced no pain, and was able to see clearly the very next day. I was a bit apprehensive but I went for it anyway. Knowing that my doctor had performed thousands of surgery gave me the confidence that I will be in great hands.
I have a friend on the West Coast that is contemplating getting Lasik in San Francisco. She is asking me whether my experience was okay and how I managed to pay for it. I told her that I got a no money down, fixed equal monthly payments for one year without interest deal that made it happen. The benefits of not wearing any eyeglasses when going to the beach, or watching movies are simple but great leaps in what I was limited in doing with eyeglasses before. Now I can just go without having to worry about it.
