Every year, our company provides us with Corporate Holiday Cards during the Christmas season to sign and be sent to our customers or clients. It’s one of the most important gestures we can give our loyal clients who provide us their business year after year. The problem is, sometimes they pick a company where to purchase the Holiday Cards a little too late. I look a the the card they want me to sign and I couldn’t believe why they even chose it.

So this year, we decided to start early and look online to make suggestions about which would be the best design and most personal Corporate Holiday Cards we could find. There are plenty of designs available – without having to be politically incorrect. They can choose to send one with a religious theme, a fun theme or anything else but cheesy. It’s a campaign now.. we want to sign the best cards this year.

Our site has been going down quite often now.  It began two days ago and the reason given to me was that the index.php of our site has crashed and needed to be updated.  Do you know of reasons why an index.php would crash?  What would cause that?  For sure, I know I didn’t cause it because I am not technical enough to even alter the index.php.

If anyone out there is a techie who knows anything about PHP – - please raise your hand.  I may need your help in keeping up with the website.

I contacted our web hosting’s tech support only to be told that the problem has been fixed. I was not given any reason what was happening which caused our blog to become unavailable. I was able to update it yesterday and then it happened again. I decided to go online and chat with them so I can get the reason in writing.

This is what they told me:

Bill [9:38:18 AM]: several dozen php processes had crashed from your index.php once the server had reached max processes it could not start any more and because of the way it crahsed it could not clear the crashed ones

[9:38:33 AM]: I updated your php version so it should not happen again

I know that Dennice (Kuya Boyette’s youngest daughter) has now graduated from Nursing. It sounds funny but it is almost true.

What’s a wedding without wedding announcements? It’s like having a birthday without the cake or going to China and not finding tea, or pasta in Italy. It is one of the important components of a wedding. When the announcement goes out – that’s it! You are fully committed to the wedding date.

My friends and I went to the beach for July 4th. It has become our annual tradition because we enjoy the all-you-can-eat crabs by the beach. We don’t live in Maryland where crabs abound so having a crabfeast for us means an annual trip to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

No one offers the all-you-can-eat crabs anymore but you can still find places where they offer great crabs. This year, we went to Lazy Susan’s Crab place and we had the best ginormous crabs you could find. Seasoned with Old Bay Seasoning, we ordered the Large crabs at $66.00 USD per dozen. These crabs are so huge that eating six will fill you up so fast. For the three of us, we ordered a dozen and a half and when we were done – we were so full that we had to take a nap.

Look at how big these crabs are with the meat so full and mouth-watering.

I know, I know. Dollar is weak, everything is up and we are here – left to mind how we’re going to make ends meet with the income that we have. It’s like chain reaction. Fuel goes up, commodities go up with it. Now I hear that the price of electricity is going up as well – as much as 25%. How would we then afford the things that we used to buy before? Every now and then, I get an email from someone – it could be a longtime friend or Kuya Rey or Jen Jen (family members) that would touch me and I would normally post it here for all of you to see. I usually get annoyed when I receive email-forwards because they usually contain this at the end … “If you don’t forward this email…. blah blah blah”…. as soon as I read that, I delete the email.
