Randy Pausch, author of The Last Lecture, succumbs to cancer.
I posted the video here to share with all of you about a couple of months back. Randy Pausch is a professor at Carnegie Mellon University. At the university, each professor is tasked in giving a class called, “The Last Lecture”. They are to provide their students what they think should be appropriate should it be their last lecture.
Randy Pausch however, provided a lecture to his students and it couldn’t be more ironic because he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The video reached levels on Youtube like you would not believe. As of this writing, the video has received over 4 million views. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2006 and has lived couple more years until his death last Friday, July 25th.
