Anyone can learn a healthy way of losing weight
With the recent events around us, it is evident that we have to take care of our health more than anything in the world. That’s all we’ve got. I know you love to eat that “lechong kawali” or “crispy pata” but to everything, there is a limit. We are no longer the young chickens running around full of energy and stamina. Our metabolism is no longer as active as it was when we were in our teens. Being overweight is one of the reasons we can run into health problems.
Who’s going to join our weight-loss initiative? We’re going to gather the people who are interested and join a program. I, personally am thinking of hiring a trainer at the gym to lose unwanted weight not only for aesthetic reasons but also for health reasons. I am going to limit the portions that I eat and cut the fat totally out of my diet. Kuya Rey could probably give us a lesson or two and so does Kuya Omeng. There are many special weight loss programs for women, men, seniors and diabetics and since diabetes runs in our family, it’s best to join programs that have paid special attention to it.
I remember Tita Dely and the way she watched her diet before. Her being strong at her age today means that “we are what we eat”. If we combine proper nutrition with proper excercise, we can expect to live healthier and longer lives. Anyone up for the challenge?
