Rudy Fernandez died of cancer at 56.
It was heartbreaking to learn that the famous actor, Rudy Fernandez has died. He died from cancer, periampullary cancer as they call it. As you may all know, Tatay (Ding Dominguez) died of lung cancer back in 1986. I remember when he was ill, he walked up all the way to my room and took my cigarettes and threw them away telling me that if I can only feel the pain that he was in, I would give up smoking easily.
I have cut down and tried to quit multiple times but I’m still unsuccessful. I am going to try the new drug available on the market called Chantix. My doctor has already given me the prescription so I’m determined to quit when I go back to the U.S.
Congratulations to Kuya Rey and Kuya Boyette who has successfully kicked the habit. Kuya Boyette hasn’t been smoking for quite some time now.. I think it’s more than five years since he last smoked.
I will – - with enough will power and persistence – I will quit smoking.
