We all have been striving to be fit and maintain a good body weight. It’s hard, specially if you are getting older. It’s not as easy burning those calories from the “chicken adobo” and “lechon” we are used to eating. Pizza is the worst if you’re trying to lose weight. Dieting is a must in order for us to be able to live healthy lives. Portion control seems to be our biggest problem.
Remember when we were taught not to leave the table until we’ve finished our plates? It’s the same lesson that we learned to do as children that is causing our weight gain now. It’s okay to leave food on the table if you’re full. Let us not continue the cycle in teaching our children to finish their plates regardless of how full they are. There is a reason why a child stops eating – it’s because they are full.
For all of us, we should follow simple tips for healthy living and a fit body such as proper diet and excercise. It’s not that hard once we master the way to proper eating and as long as we keep on moving.
There are weight loss programs out there and one of them must be a good fit for your lifestyle. Weight Watchers seems to be the simplest one. Or try the South Beach Diet. If we learn to be disciplined enough, we can lose the weight.
Here are tips to cut back on calories. Follow this link. Read it, and follow it. We have to hear your success story.

Hello Tita Luding, Tito Larry and kids!! How’s New York? It’s obvious that we haven’t seen each other for a long time. I don’t even know how you look like anymore.
We are calling on Eduvie, Cecille, and Neil to share news and stories about their family lives. We are all so far apart now and very rarely do we see each other. We are lucky to see each other once a year.
This blog is yours too. Feel free to send in your stories, your humor and anything that comes to mind. We will be waiting to hear from you!

Have I convinced our yougans to start blogging yet? I know all of you have Friendster accounts and that’s fine. Some probably have MySpace as well. I’m telling you though, blogging is so much fun. I started a blog last year (I’m not going to tell you which one) and the blog has reached phenomenal heights with respect to unique visits and page views. Why you ask? It’s because I stumbled upon celebrity blogging. Teens go crazy about the latest trends in music, their favorite artists and of course – - gossip.
One thing that these youngans are totally into is Rap music. They can get into it and it’s become part of the pop music scene. Even famous artists like Shakira or Justin Timberlake do mix a bit of rap in their music as well.
Teens visit my site all the time to look for their favorite Rap Artists and their songs. They like looking up Rap Lyrics and listening to sample music recently released.
So – to our teens out there – I found a site where you can get the full lyrics to your Rap muzak! Visit the link below:

Hello Family! It’s me again to give you some advice on how to get extra cash most specially our families in the Philippines. You may have heard of BLOGGERS before. They used to be the obscure and unknown people writing their diaries and personal anonymous stories on the web. How that has changed!
There are many bloggers all over the world these days. Sometimes, bloggers get hold of the news even before the TV stations do. They can control the media these days. Advertisers rely on bloggers to spread the news about their products. In short, there is money to be made in blogging.
I know a lot of Filipino bloggers who are making a six figure income for themselves by blogging full time. If anyone is interested, let me know. I can show you the ropes.

I remember when I got my first car from Kuya Rey. He gave me a 1970 Volkswagen. Other than the fading paint, the car was in good condition. That was the first car that got me to wherever I wanted to go as a teenager. In Maryland, you can’t really go anywhere without a car. Even with an old car like that, I was extremely happy. All I had to spend for was car care products and even though I had to step on the gas and the break at the same time when I’m at a stop light (to prevent the car from stalling), I still looked great in it! Hahaha! It’s a classic car!
I told myself that when I get a better job and a better-paying one at that, I would get take it to professional auto detailing experts and have it detailed. There’s a company that specializes offering products to keep your car looking great regardless of how old it is. Lane’s Professional Car Products offers safe, easy and secure online ordering with 100% satisfaction guaranteed. If you’re trying to maintain a clunker, use Lane’s Professional Car Products to keep it looking great. Don’t worry, when your transmission falls of – everyone’s still going to say – “You’ve got a hot car!”

I had to post this one here because I remember when I went to London after they changed the rules about credit card spending overseas. The cards were charging an exorbitant amount of fees when you use your credit cards overseas. What would you do when you need cash? It used to be beneficial to use your credit cards to purchase since you get a better rate of exchange. Not any more. If you must travel to Europe, follow these tips.

When we rent that house in Chicago or Ocean City, MD – we will all be in one household with lots of kids and adults trying to find something to do to fill their time. I’ve been in reunions where we bring out the magic microphone for the teens to start doing karaoke and the mahjong table for the older folks who want to play for fun. The last time we had a grand reunion here in the U.S. was Nena Dominguez’s 65th birthday over 13 years ago. This is going to be fun. We need an outlet to release all our drama!
The hardest age group to entertain are the pre-teen ones. They always get into each other’s hair and they get pretty bored so easily unless you find something for them to do. And we don’t want them to get into trouble, so I suggest that before we even go, we should shop online for board games and puzzles that could keep them occupied. While the teens are doing their thing and the older ones busy with their “hobby”, we can keep the kids busy by having them complete puzzles and play board games.
This is going to be fun! Who’s in charge of the grill? Let us know what you think you can bring so we can organize who’s responsible for what. Okay folks?

Hello Family! You’ve probably heard that I will be going away for a month on a business trip to Europe. The problem is that I don’t have anyone to care for my dog. I have friends who have offered to take him in but if you are available and you like pets – I’m open to suggestions.
Jake is a six month old Shih Tzu. He’s so much fun and a very lively dog at that. He’s well behaved most of the time and likes to play outdoors a lot. He’s very good with kids as well so there’s nothing to worry about.
Let me know. I leave on the 31st of this month.
Thanks!! Topher

The last thing most people who suffer from depression want to do is exercise. The dark hole of depression can make even getting out of bed everyday a seemingly impossible task. If you suffer from depression it is imperative that you see your doctor or a therapist first, but don’t be surprised if they prescribe some sort of exercise regimen for you to follow in addition to some of the more normal treatments for depression.
